Terms and Conditions 3DWorksStore

By using our webshop and services, you agree to the following terms and conditions. Please read these terms carefully before placing an order.


Article 1 - Definitions

In these terms and conditions, the following terms are used:

  • 3DWorksStore: the trading name of Prompt Media, located at Papaverweg 34, 1032 KJ Amsterdam, The Netherlands, registered with the Chamber of Commerce under number 01086975, VAT number NL001429868B57
  • Customer: the natural or legal person entering into an agreement with 3DWorksStore
  • Products: the 3D-printed items that 3DWorksStore offers through the webshop and other sales channels
  • Webshop: the online store of 3DWorksStore, accessible via 3dworksstore.com
  • Custom order: a product that is specially printed at the customer's request based on a file provided by the customer

Article 2 - Applicability

2.1 These terms and conditions apply to all offers, orders and agreements between 3DWorksStore and the customer.

2.2 For orders via external sales platforms (such as Bol.com, eBay and Etsy), in addition to these terms, the general terms and conditions of the relevant platform also apply. In case of conflict, the terms of the external platform prevail insofar as they offer stronger consumer protection.

2.3 Deviations from these terms are only valid if confirmed in writing or by email by 3DWorksStore.


Article 3 - Orders and products

3.1 Standard products: 3DWorksStore offers 3D-printed products that are made to order. Products are produced after the order has been placed and paid for.

3.2 Custom orders: Customers can also provide their own STL or 3MF file for printing a custom product. The process is as follows:

  • The customer provides the file
  • 3DWorksStore creates a quote
  • After customer approval, the product is printed
  • After completion, the customer receives an invoice
  • After payment, the product is shipped

3.3 Development work: If 3DWorksStore needs to develop or modify a product, different prices apply. Here too: first quote, then approval, printing, invoicing, payment and shipping.

3.4 Product variations: Due to the nature of 3D printing, small variations may occur in color, finish, texture or dimensions between products and compared to images on the website. These small variations are inherent to the production process and do not constitute grounds for return.

3.5 Copyright: For custom orders, the customer is fully responsible for the legality of the file provided. The customer guarantees that the file does not infringe on intellectual property rights of third parties. 3DWorksStore does not check files provided for copyright infringement.


Article 4 - Prices and payment

4.1 All prices on the website are in euros and include VAT, unless stated otherwise.

4.2 Shipping costs are added separately to the product price and are displayed during the ordering process.

4.3 Payment is made via Mollie. The following payment methods are available: iDEAL, credit card and other methods offered by Mollie.

4.4 For standard orders via the webshop, full payment must be made before production starts.

4.5 For custom orders and development work, payment is due after production, according to the invoice sent. The payment term is 14 days after invoice date.

4.6 In case of late payment of custom orders, the customer is in default without a notice of default being required. 3DWorksStore reserves the right to charge € 25 administration costs and not to ship the product until full payment has been received.

4.7 3DWorksStore reserves the right to change prices. For orders already placed, the prices as stated at the time of ordering apply.


Article 5 - Delivery and shipping

5.1 The estimated production and delivery time is 7 working days after receipt of payment, depending on workload and capacity. This period is indicative and not a strict deadline.

5.2 Shipping costs within the Netherlands are € 7.10 (via PostNL or DHL). For shipping abroad, the current shipping rates shown during the ordering process apply.

5.3 The customer is responsible for correctly entering the delivery address. 3DWorksStore is not liable for delay or loss due to an incorrectly provided address.

5.4 The risk of loss or damage passes to the customer when the product is transferred to the carrier.


Article 6 - Right of withdrawal and returns

6.1 Standard products: For standard products from the webshop, a withdrawal period of 14 days after receipt applies, in accordance with the Distance Selling Act.

6.2 Custom-made products: The right of withdrawal is excluded for products manufactured according to customer specifications. This means that:

  • Custom orders (based on customer-provided files) cannot be returned
  • Products specially printed for the customer cannot be returned

6.3 Defective or damaged products: Products that are defective or damaged upon delivery can always be returned or exchanged. Report defects within 7 days of receipt to 3DWorksStore.

6.4 To return standard products within the withdrawal period, the customer contacts 3DWorksStore. Return costs are at the customer's expense, unless the product is defective.


Article 7 - Warranty

7.1 3DWorksStore guarantees that products meet the specifications as stated on the website and are free from manufacturing defects.

7.2 The warranty period is 1 year after delivery, provided the product has been used normally and has not been damaged by the customer.

7.3 In case of defects within the warranty period, 3DWorksStore offers replacement or refund at its discretion.

7.4 The warranty expires in case of:

  • Incorrect use or negligence by the customer
  • Self-applied modifications or repairs
  • Normal wear and tear

Article 8 - Complaints

8.1 Complaints about products or services can be reported via:

8.2 3DWorksStore aims to handle complaints within 7 working days and offer an appropriate solution.

8.3 Complaints about defective or damaged products must be reported within 7 days of receipt, preferably with photos of the defect.


Article 9 - Cancellation

9.1 Standard orders can be cancelled free of charge until production has started.

9.2 Custom orders can no longer be cancelled once the customer has agreed to the quote and production has started.

9.3 For cancellation, the customer should contact 3DWorksStore as soon as possible.


Article 10 - Liability

10.1 3DWorksStore is not liable for indirect damage, such as loss of revenue, profit or savings.

10.2 3DWorksStore's liability is limited in all cases to the amount of the order in question.

10.3 3DWorksStore is not liable for damage resulting from:

  • Incorrect use of products
  • Errors in files provided by the customer
  • Force majeure (including production disruptions, raw material supply problems, etc.)

10.4 For custom orders, 3DWorksStore is not liable for third-party claims due to copyright infringement of files provided by the customer.


Article 11 - Intellectual property

11.1 All intellectual property rights relating to products, designs, images and texts on the website belong to 3DWorksStore or the entitled third parties.

11.2 It is not permitted to reproduce or publish material from the website without prior written permission.

11.3 For custom orders, the customer retains all rights to the file provided by them. 3DWorksStore uses the file exclusively for production of the order.


Article 12 - Privacy and data protection

12.1 3DWorksStore processes personal data in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

12.2 For more information about the processing of personal data, we refer to our privacy policy at 3dworksstore.com/privacy.


Article 13 - Applicable law and disputes

13.1 Dutch law applies to all agreements between 3DWorksStore and the customer.

13.2 Disputes are preferably settled amicably. If this is not possible, disputes are submitted to the competent court in the Amsterdam district.

13.3 For consumers, they can also file a complaint via the European ODR platform: http://ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr/


Article 14 - Changes

14.1 3DWorksStore reserves the right to change these terms and conditions.

14.2 Changes will be published on the website and take effect from the publication date.

14.3 For orders already placed, the terms as they applied at the time of ordering apply.
